Show Notes
In this episode I have a conversation with Eric Ingersoll. Eric is a relationship transformation guide. He knows transformation from the inside out, because he is walking this path himself. Once a brooding indie-rock musician using sexual fantasy to try and meet his needs for aliveness and acceptance, he has since learned the relational skills that empower him to get his needs met in his real-life relationships. By cultivating a magical blend of intimacy and autonomy, he and his wife are falling more deeply in love with each passing day. They now work as a team supporting individuals and couples that want to cultivate more aliveness and connection in their own lives. You can learn more about their work at ericandzucu.com.
Eric discusses how living in fantasy most of his life took him away from reality and made it difficult for him to create authentic intimate relationships. Through the continuous work around feelings of shame and inadequacy, and finding compassionate communication tools, Eric is now living a life that is more fulfilled, present, authentic and enriching. If you find you are continually living out relationships in the safe zone of your mind, give this a listen.
“Fantasy just became too painful, it conflicted with reality”
